Year Round 2020

“Year Round 2019” is an artwork by Mauricio Ramirez that that tells a story of how Chicago embraces all four seasons. “One of the most unique things about Chicago is how the seasons highly influence the activity throughout the city. I have chosen to depict this narrative by abstractly using geometrical shapes that hold color that corresponds to their season. All through the mural, you can see how the seasons of color playfully interact with each other.” The artwork will be painted on brick, with some basic site preparation needed including power washing the entirety of the wall.
