Upwells
Urbana, Illinois
Free to visit, outdoors, open any time.
A spire, with 3 wells lined up to the north and a sphere in a fountain south. The tip of the spire's shadow will meet the wells on the winter, spring/fall, and summer equinoxes. Aligning the sphere with the spire's tip will point toward the North Star.
