Undercurrent Grand Ave Wall

The Undercurrent project brought art and beauty to lower Michigan Avenue with installations from three local artists. The artists were asked to create a “mirror” image of what was above below, and we are amazed by what they created. The installations can be found on the walls at The Realtors Building (Billy Goat Tavern), Intercontinental Hotel, the north wall of Grand Avenue and Michigan Avenue and serve as a brighter and safer route for commuters and visitors walking Lower Michigan Avenue. The Magnificent Mile Association secured approval from CDOT on behalf of the artist.
