Calocitta Colliei - Black-Throated Magpie-Jay

The mural is an allegory of freedom and the teaching of love. It represents traveling souls, migration, and the home we all carry. The birds I depicted on the wall are endemic to Mexico's northern Pacific coast; they are called the beautiful black-throated magpie. I am inspired by nature, especially birds, because of what they symbolize: diversity, identity, and freedom.
